Maryland Half Marathon & 5K
10 years. 130,000 miles. Endless impact.
It is hard to believe this is the 10th anniversary of the Maryland Half Marathon! Team RadOnc is back at it and hoping you will support us as we continue to outrun cancer! Over the past years Dana & I have gained strength, courage and confidence with every experience and know that what we do together will make a difference for many lives tomorrow. We ask you to join our team and fundraise with us, run with us or simply donate to help us reach our fundraising goals. I know that by staying true to commitments we can do anything. This opportunity to continue to help patients in ways that we normally wouldn’t be able to is exciting and unique to the Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center. This year my knees are a little stiffer and aches and pains seem more noticeable, but running alongside a true survivor- Dana, is the ultimate motivation. Her passion to help others as she continues her personal fight gives credence to the collective effort of what we all do, small and large can make the difference. Every dollar raised for Team RadOnc will directly fund the research interest of the Department of Radiation Oncology and will help the mission of the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center. UMGCCC’s involvement in groundbreaking, clinical and translational research serves not only the patients who come through our door, but also those with cancer around the globe. Please help us help ALL cancer patients.
