Welcome to our Maryland Half Marathon Team Page!
We are participating in the 2019 Maryland Half Marathon & 5K to raise money for the fight against cancer. 100% of every dollar we raise goes directly to the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center (UMGCCC). Since 2009, participants like us have raised more than $3 million to support UMGCCC’s cutting-edge care and groundbreaking research.
This year, Tiffani Tyer, CRNP, and Stephanie Rice, MD, both in Radiation Oncology, as well as Christian Chan, Radiation Therapist at the Maryland Proton Treatment Center and childhood cancer survivor, and I are proud to represent Team RadOnc. As a National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center, UMGCCC ranks among the top cancer centers in the country. They combine compassionate care with the most advanced treatment options available. We hope you’ll consider making a donation to fund their amazing work. Your support helps provide lifesaving treatment to UMGCCC patients like Dana and funds research that benefits cancer patients everywhere.
Please consider joining our team, making a donation, or coming to cheer for us on June 8. Together, we can move the fight against cancer forward! Thank you!
